Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before downloading, accessing, or using the Portus Voice AI mobile application (the "App") or website operated by Portus Voice AI ("we," "our," or "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Portus Voice AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

2. User Accounts and Authentication

- You may register and authenticate using supported third-party providers, including Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple.

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

- You must notify us immediately at support@portusvoice.co.uk if you suspect any unauthorized access or security breach of your account.

3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Digital Content (UK/EU Consumer Rights)

- Premium Features: Portus Voice AI may offer subscription tiers or digital credits unlocking interactive features.

- Immediate Supply Waiver: Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations and EU Consumer Rights Directive, you expressly request and consent to the immediate supply of digital content upon purchase. You acknowledge that by receiving immediate access, you waive any statutory 14-day cancellation or cooling-off right.

- Billing and Cancellation: Subscriptions are billed and managed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period within your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, voice models, or algorithms of the App.

- Use the App to transmit, generate, or store harmful, defamatory, unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.

- Interfere with, overburden, or compromise the integrity or security of our cloud infrastructure and connected APIs.

- Circumvent or bypass any digital rights management, security checks, or billing controls.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including software code, speech processing logic, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, remain the exclusive property of Portus Voice AI or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for high accuracy in pronunciation evaluation and conversation simulation, we make no guarantees that feedback will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific learning expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Portus Voice AI, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to use the App.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by selecting "Delete Account" in the App settings.
